Low-Income Utility Payments Assistance Enrollment

Help individuals who qualify for Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) and other programs receive benefits.

In 2018 the Office of Community Services (OCS) Division of Energy Assistance (DEA) will issue over $3B in block grants to Low Income Home Assistance Energy Programs. California has allocated over $1M to the CARE Program alone.

Many low-income people may not be aware of these grants, or if they are aware they may not be able to navigate the application process. Screen, educate, and activate low-income individuals so they can receive benefits.
