Founder & CEO
Perla is the founder and CEO of CommunityConnect Labs, the Census Outreach Project, and GreatNonprofits. Previously, she founded the Stanford Social Innovation Review, the leading journal on nonprofit management and philanthropy. She has served on the boards of Goodwill, America’s Charities and Network for Good. Perla holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA from UC Berkeley.
VP of Research
Jacob is a quantitative sociologist and leads program design, evaluation, and analysis. He has worked as a research assistant at Harvard Business School and as a strategy consultant at Bridgespan Group focused on nonprofits and government. Jacob holds a PhD from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA from Harvard College.
Stephanie B. Kim
Director of Government & Nonprofit Programs
Stephanie brings a background in social impact strategy and operations, specializing in workforce development and corporate social responsibility. She has served as an associate director at the Wharton Social Impact Initiative and led local canvassing operations in the 2016 presidential election. Stephanie holds a MPA from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Wellesley College.
Ian Anstee is a Stanford Public Interest Network Fellow with a passion for safety net and health issues. He serves as the Steering Committee Chair for Camp Kesem at Stanford, a nonprofit that serves families affected by cancer. He was previously a Sand Hill Fellow at the Walter & Elise Haas Fund where he focused on homelessness and food insecurity. Ian holds a BA from Stanford University and teaches improv in his free time.
